Recoveriescorp in the Community

We are committed to being a responsible, community-minded organisation, supporting initiatives that promote financial wellbeing, mental health awareness, and social inclusion.

Financial Literacy and Education Programs

At Recoveriescorp, we believe in empowering individuals with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to build stronger financial futures.

Beyond recovery, we are committed to helping customers improve their financial wellbeing through investing in support, education, and early intervention programs.

Our support of financial literacy initiatives is designed to promote responsible financial management, reduce the long-term impact of debt, and help individuals regain control with confidence and dignity.

We also take an active role in thought leadership across the sector, sharing insights and best practices that promote ethical, customer-focused recovery strategies and financial resilience in the wider community.

Through our programs and partnerships, we are helping to create better outcomes not only for our clients and their customers – but for the communities we all share.

Community Initiatives

Through partnerships, fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy, we proudly contribute to causes that align with our values of care, respect, and making a difference.

Our people are passionate about giving back, and together we work to build stronger, more resilient communities across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.

Our Community Partners

  • Thriving Communities Australia

We’re proud to partner with Thriving Communities Australia, a not-for-profit organisation that connects businesses and leads collaborative projects to promote inclusion and accessibility for all in today’s contemporary society.

Through this partnership, we remain closely connected to the pressing issues affecting our communities. By working together, we’re able to shape practical strategies that support continuous improvement in how we serve and support our customers.

  • ICAN Learn

ICAN Learn is a registered training organisation and a subsidiary of the Indigenous Consumer Assistance Network. Through our partnership, we’ve expanded our training to include Financial Literacy Education and Cultural Competence. We’re also proud to support ICAN Learn’s scholarship program, which helps build opportunities and career pathways for Indigenous Australians.

  • DV Safe Phone

DV Safe Phone is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that provides free, repurposed mobile phones to people experiencing domestic and family violence. A mobile phone can be a vital lifeline—connecting individuals to emergency services, support networks, and a pathway to safety.
We’re proud to support DV Safe Phone’s mission. With women making up the majority of our workforce—and being the most impacted by domestic and family violence—this partnership aligns with our values and our commitment to meaningful action.

By donating our replaced mobile phones, we contribute to a cause that has a real impact, while also reducing landfill by giving these devices a powerful second life.

  • The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is an international charity delivering meaningful support to individuals and families experiencing hardship. We’re proud to partner with them, as their extensive national reach reflects the breadth of our own customer base. Through this collaboration, our customers can access vital services such as financial counselling and other forms of practical assistance when they need it most.

  • Ability Options

Ability Options is a respected NDIS provider in New South Wales, offering a wide range of services to support people living with disability. We’ve partnered with them through their corporate training programs to deliver Trauma-Informed Practice sessions to all our frontline staff, helping ensure our teams are equipped to provide compassionate, informed, and inclusive support.

  • Respect & Protect

Respect & Protect is a movement led by Catherine Fitzpatrick and the Flequity Ventures team, driving awareness and action to prevent financial abuse and promote respect across Australian businesses.

We’re proud to partner with this initiative, particularly given that women—who make up the majority of our workforce—are also the most affected by financial abuse. Abuse in any form is not tolerated by our organisation. As a business involved in supporting the recovery of overdue payments, it’s critical that we lead by example, uphold respectful practices, and encourage our clients to do the same—many of whom already are.

To demonstrate our commitment, we’ve updated our future client contracts to include the following clause in our warranties section:

“We will take a zero-tolerance approach to any Financial Abuse, whether suspected or actual, occurring in the delivery of services.”

    We define financial abuse as:

A form of domestic and family violence where an abuser uses money or other resources to gain control over their partner or family member.

This is just the beginning. We’re committed to continuous action and collaboration to create safer, more respectful systems for all.

  • South East Community Links

We’re proud to partner with South East Community Links (SECL), a financial support organisation using a community-first approach. Their ‘Bring Your Bills’ events regularly welcome around 400 attendees and address over $500,000 in outstanding debts. Our team attends these events to provide direct, compassionate support to our customers – because being there in person matters.

  • Fitted for Work

Fitted for Work is a Melbourne-based not-for-profit organisation supporting women, non-binary, and gender-diverse people experiencing disadvantage to find meaningful employment, stay in work, and thrive in their careers. Through job-readiness programs and a dedicated workwear outfitting service, they have empowered over 45,000 job seekers since 2005.

We’re proud to partner with Fitted for Work. With women making up the majority of our workforce—and facing persistent financial gender inequality—we recognise the importance of employment as a pathway to financial security and generational wealth. Supporting women in work means supporting stronger families and communities.
